To install the Linux Base :-

1. CPPM - The install Compact Flash

card is inserted into the front of the

card and the card is restarted. The

system will request that an F is

pressed to Boot from the installer.

(As shown in the diagram)

2. COT’s - The DVD is inserted into the

drive and the server is restarted.

This will force the server to boot to

the installer.

3. CPMG/CPDC The USB installer is

inserted into the front of the card.

The diagram shows a CPPM card

booting with F being pressed to start

the installer. Note on the lower

picture the EXTENDED MEMORY

and the BIOS VERSION. Both of

these need to be checked when

running Linux.
